After the grand success of KGF Chapter 2, everyone has been anticipating Yash’s next film. And guess what? We might just witness his Bollywood debut with Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Yes, you read that right! He’s highly interested in turning baddie as Raavan. Exciting, isn’t it?
No announcements after KGF Chapter 2
Usually, actors have their films in pipeline already even before a prior release. However, in a couple of months, it would be one year and Yash is yet to make any announcement. There’s a lot of excitement among fans but the Rocking Star is yet to make any official announcement.
Wait over for Yash fans?
It’s been learnt that Yash is taking his time and making cautious decisions after delivering magnum opus like KGF Chapter 2. Fans are now expecting something larger than life character like Rocky and there’s been immense pressure on him.
Now, as per the latest in Pinkvilla, it seems that the wait is over for Yash fans as he’s in talks with producer Madhu Mantena and director Nitesh Tiwari to join their much-awaited Ramayana as Raavan.
Yash as Raavan & Ranbir Kapoor as lord Ram in Ramayana?
“Yash wants to do a spectacle and is planning his game with a certain vision in mind. He is hearing scripts from across the industries, and has narrowed down on 4 to 5 scripts which have the potential of being his next. One of the 5 is the Nitesh Tiwari directed Ramayana. Yash is mighty impressed with the pre-visualization of the film and has been doing meetings with the team of Ramayana. He will be taking a call on his immediate next film within the next 2 months,” as quoted by a source close to Pinkvilla.
For those who are unaware, Ranbir Kapoor had been already approached to play lord Ram but is yet to come on board officially. “Ranbir too is waiting for the entire film to be cast before signing the dotted lines. It’s a prestigious project and he wants everything to be perfect before committing to play the divine role,” source adds further.
If everything falls in place, the film will kick start by this summer.
