When Samantha Akkineni Raised An Objection On Mahesh Babu Starrer 1-Nenokkadine’s ‘Regressive’ Poster

Well, Mahesh Babu, the Telugu superstar once witnessed such backlash over a poster of his movie, 1-Nenokkadine. The objection came from none other than Samantha Akkineni. Two of the actors clashed over the 2014 Telugu release, 1-Nenokkadine. In the poster of the film, Mahesh Babu and Kriti Sanon are on a beach. As Mahesh is seen walking ahead, Kriti is crawling behind him like a four-legged animal. It irked Samantha and she shared her views about the poster on her Twitter.

Samantha Akkineni was upset by watching Kriti Sanon’s portrayal on the poster and she shared her dismay on the web. Tweeting about 1-Nenokkadine movie poster, Samantha wrote, “Saw a poster of a yet to be released Telugu film. Not only is it deeply regressive, but its point is actually that it is deeply regressive.” As expected, the Pokiri actor fans got angry and slammed the actress on Twitter.

As we all know, Samantha Akkineni is unapologetic about her strong words, she maintained her stand. It did make Mahesh Babu take note of her tweet and respond. However, his words shown he was deeply hurt.

Reacting to Samantha’s tweet, Mahesh Babu had said, “Look, Samantha knows me and my wife Namrata. If she found anything regressive about the poster, she could have checked with me first. Instead, she went and posted her views online. She should not have done that. At least she could have tried to speak to us,” in an interview with Bollywood Life.
