When Margot Robbie Had To Touch Herself For 17 Hours In A Room Full Of ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ Team

Margot Robbie pulled off one of the best acts of her career in The Wolf Of Wall Street, alongside opposite Leonardo DiCaprio. The movie had many strong and bold scenes which were not easy to shoot. Here is a throwback to one of those scenes.

The 30-year-old actress has given some memorable performances in a short span of time. She is one of the most renowned, talented and highest-paid actresses in Hollywood. She has given some commendable movies such as Suicide Squad, Bombshell and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The Wolf Of Wall Street is directed by Martin Scorsese. The movie is an adaptation of the real-life story of Wall Street King. The duo of Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio shared amazing chemistry and some steamy scenes in the movie. However, Margot revealed that it was awkward to shoot some of the scenes opposite Leo.

One of the scenes is that when they both are in the nursery of their baby. Margot Robbie teases Leonardo with the possibility of s*x. While talking to Porter Magazine about the same, she said, “It does not come across when you are watching the movie, but in reality, we are in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in. All men.”

Margot Robbie shared how she pretended to touch herself for 17 hours. She had to bury all her embarrassment and absurdity deep and fully commit to what she was doing. The actress’ performance in the movie was one of the best performances of her career.

When we watch a film in theatres or on a television screen, it seems like shooting is a cakewalk. However, actors go through difficult and challenging situations to shoot. And of course, when a person like Martin Scorsese is in a director’s chair, you have that sense of responsibility to pull it off.
