Shah Rukh Khan’s Two Films Acquire 320 Crores Through OTT Deals?

King Khan is in full demand!

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make a roaring comeback on the big screen next year. Not 1 or 2 but the actor will be coming with 3 films in 2023 including Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Now, the latest we hear about the star is about the OTT deals of his upcoming films.

For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero, which was released in 2018. It turned out to be a huge debacle at the box office. Ever since then, Khan has been on a hiatus and it’s been over 4 years since his film has arrived on the big screen. Thankfully, he’s all set to back with a bang and it’s going to be a triple treat for all SRK fans next year.

Coming back to the report, it’s learned that two of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming films- Pathaan and Jawan, have cracked a record-breaking deal of OTT rights. For YRF’s biggie, Amazon Prime Video has reportedly paid a monumental sum of 200 crores. Speaking of Atlee’s actioner, Netflix has reportedly shed a sum of a huge 120 crores. If combined, both the films have acquired 320 crores through just an OTT deal and it’s really earth-shattering.

Even though the reports aren’t confirmed, it could be true as Shah Rukh Khan’s all upcoming films are in huge demand and there would be a definite tug of war between all OTT giants to acquire rights for King Khan’s highly-anticipated biggies. If this is the scene in digital space, one could just imagine the hype in the exhibition sector.

Speaking of the films’ release dates, Pathaan is scheduled to arrive on 25th January 2023. Jawan is slated to release on 2nd June 2023. Shah Rukh Khan‘s Dunki is all set to arrive with a bang on 22nd December 2023.
