After creating ripples in the original Kannada version, Kantara is all set to release in its Hindi dubbed version. It rarely happens when the people demand a particular film to be dubbed in a language they want to see and the Rishab Shetty directorial has achieved that kind of love and anticipation.
For those who don’t know, the film originally released on 30th September alongside Ponniyin Selvan 1 and Vikram Vedha. While both the big films occupied the space in the market, Rishab Shetty’s film made its place slowly and steadily purely on the basis of word-of-mouth.
Made on a controlled budget, Kantara is a huge hit and is growing with each passing day. Interestingly, the film is running houseful even in the Hindi market as people are catching it on the big screen despite not knowing Kannada languages. The number of shows with subtitles is getting increased with each passing day.
Owing to such a response and on public demand, Kantara makers decided to dub the film in Hindi and a few moments ago, the trailer of the dubbed version was unveiled on YouTube. Speaking about the arrival, the film is scheduled to release on 14th October and will be clashing with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G. With extraordinary word-of-mouth already in the air, Ayushmann’s film is expected to face a dent at the box office.
Advance bookings are yet to open for Kantara (Hindi). If reports are to be believed, the bookings will be made available by Tuesday afternoon or evening (not all screens) and full fledged bookings will start from Wednesday. The film will be distributed by renowned film distributor Anil Thadani.
