Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and a few other actors of the Bollywood industry, is one of the most awaited projects. The movie is set to break a few records even before it has released in cinemas.
Made under the direction of Om Raut, Adipurush is all set to break the record of the blockbuster Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. It is reported that the director of the movie has decided to use three times more VFX than the Baahubali sequel.
Until now, Baahubali 2 made the record for having the maximum number of visual effects in the history of Bollywood. The movie had around 2500 visual effects. However, Om Raut has decided to break all records by using around 8000 VFX shots in his upcoming movie, Adipurush.
The mythological epic will release in 3D format with visual spectacles.
Even though much information about the movie is not out yet, the cast of the movie is already announced. The film will be based on the Hindu mythological epic Ramayana. Prabhas will play the role of Ram, while Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh will play the role of Ravan, Sita and Laxman, respectively.
Although there were rumours all around that Sidharth Shukla might feature in the movie, as Meghnad, the news was shut by Sidharth himself. He cleared that he hasn’t been approached by the makers.
According to some news, Adipurush has a huge budget of 400 crore rupees. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Apart from Hindi, the film will also release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam simultaneously. It is slated to release on 11th August 2022.
