Timepass 3 box office: Prathamesh Parab is back as Dagdu and as expected, his ‘Timepass’ magic is working at the ticket windows. It’s now all set to enter into a profit zone, so let’s find out what is the budget of the film and how much collection it has made till now.
In Timepass 2, we saw a leading pair of Priyadarshan Jadhav and Priya Bapat. Now for TP 3, Prathamesh Parab makes a comeback as Dagdu. Even though not official, the film is said to be a prequel. The first part worked really well and was a huge hit at the box office, while the second part was a blockbuster despite mixed reviews. The third instalment too is bringing in good numbers, however, it won’t be able to a big success like first two instalments.
Speaking about the Timepass 3 box office collection, the film has earned 4.75 crores in the first 5 days in Maharashtra and is expected to close its first week at around 5.60 crores. Despite two major releases Ek Villain Returns and Vikrant Rona (Hindi) running in the state, this Marathi film is managing to find its own audience.
Now coming to the budget, Timepass 3 has been made at a reasonable cost of 7 crores. The cost is expected to be recovered during the second weekend itself, however, it’ll be affected by De Dhakka 2 which releases on 5th August. Nonetheless, after Pawankhind, Dharmaveer and Sarsenapati Hambirrao, the Marathi film industry is all set to get its next box office success.
Helmed by Ravi Jadhav, Timepass 3 also stars Sanjay Narvekar, Bhau Kadam and Vaibhav Mangle in key roles.
