Today, we’ll be taking a look at the major cities of India and how they are faring in ticket booking for this Rohit Shetty’s cop drama.
Starting with Mumbai, the city is roaring in advance booking. Being the biggest Bollywood market and thanks to the credibility of Rohit Shetty among family audience, big sales of tickets is clearly seen here. As of now, 65-70% shows are running almost houseful. One another important reason for filling fast shows is that due to COVID restrictions, only 50% occupancy has been allowed in theatres. Thus screens are getting booked quickly.
In NCR Delhi region, Sooryavanshi is much better than yesterday. More screens are opened for booking today. As of now, 10-15% shows are filling fast. Single screens would be more dependent on spot bookings.
In the city of Bengaluru, there’s dull response overall. Just like yesterday, all shows are easily available and running empty in advance booking. No major turnaround in expected here!
The city of Hyderabad has paced up promisingly. 20-30% shows are in the filling fast mode. Single screens and multiplexes are head to head here.
Ahmedabad is showing an amazing response for Sooryavanshi. There’s a huge improvement when compared to yesterday. As of now, 30-35% shows are in the filling fast mode. Single screens too are showing a good response.
Chennai is decent for Sooryavanshi. Here, as of now, around 15-20% shows are on the verge of becoming houseful.
Pune, as usual, is showing terrific response for Rohit Shetty’s film. Around 35-40% shows are filling fast. Single screens are showing better response than mutiplexes.
Kolkata remains on the decent line as 15-20% shows are filling fast.
