Sita Ramam has turned out to be a box office success with its Hindi version, which released on 2nd September. The film completed its 16 days in theatres and with no pre-release buzz, it managed to pull off a decent collection till now. Let’s check it out in detail below.
The film opened up to rave reviews from critics upon its original release on 5th August and enjoyed a super consistent at the box office. In fact, it’s still running in theatres even after completing one and a half months in theatres.
As of now, Sita Ramam has made a collection of 61 crores nett in India (including business from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi). It’s a superb number considering the reported budget of the film is said to be just 30 crores. After success in all languages – Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Studios acquired distribution rights in the Hindi market.
With a minimum break-even number, Sita Ramam (Hindi) has turned out to be a box office success by making 5.10 crores nett in 16 days. With no advertising or buzz, the film has done its job. Despite Brahmastra‘s strong presence, the film is working with its targeted audience.
Speaking about the overall worldwide business, Sita Ramam has earned 89.30 crores gross till now.
