Pawankhind Box Office (After 10 Days): To Beat Ventilator Soon & Enter Top 10 Highest Grossing Marathi Movies

Pawankhind remains unaffected despite Gangubai Kathiawadi's release

One can say that Pawankhind has brought back the golden days at the box office for the Marathi film industry. Despite the release of the highly-anticipated Gangubai Kathiawadi, the magnum opus is putting on a thunderous show, and below is the latest update you need.

Helmed by Digpal Lanjekar, Pawankhind is currently in its second week and just wrapped up its second-weekend run. Amid so much buzz for the film’s box office numbers, the latest update has come and it screams a mind-blowing run.

As per the trade reports flowing in, Pawankhind has pulled off a glorious total of 18 crores from the first 10 days. The film stayed almost similar on its second Friday (1.10 crores) when compared to the first Friday (1.25 crores), and jumped further on Saturday and Sunday. With these numbers, Pawankhind will be soon beating Priyanka Chopra’s Marathi production, Ventilator. Ventilator currently holds the 10th position in the list of highest-grossing Marathi movies of all time with a total of 25 crores. As of now, here in Maharashtra, Pawankhind is facing stiff competition from Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi which is enjoying a positive response overall. But despite that, the response at the box office isn’t slowing down for the historical drama.

The film stars Chinmay Mandlekar, Ajay Purkar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Sameer Dharmadhikari, Ankit Mohan, Prajakta Mali, Astad Kale and others. It released on 18th February, a day before Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj jayanti.
