Ranbir Kapoor led Brahmastra is out of theatres now. The film did tremendously well despite the negativity around it. It received love both from India as well overseas as box office numbers went beyond 400 crores. Let’s take a look at its closing collection till now on the worldwide front.
Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film had a cloud of boycott trend over it. However, it failed to cause any damage to this creation as people flocked to theatres to catch the brave attempt made by Ayan and the team. Not just it managed to bag one of the biggest Bollywood openings ever, but it also sustained well for weeks in theatres.
Coming to our point, Brahmastra has ended its glorious run at the Indian box office at 265 crores nett or 312.70 crores gross (inclusive of all languages). In Hindi version alone, the film clocked 240 crores nett or 283.20 crores gross. In international markets, the magnum opus did a business of 114 crore gross. Inclusive of all, the worldwide collection till now stands at 426.70 crores gross.
So far in 2022, Brahmastra is the only Bollywood film to go beyond 400 crore mark at the worldwide box office and it really deserves to be at the top. Speaking about the budget, there’s no fixed number coming in from the production house. However, Ranbir Kapoor once had cleared it that the reports stating the part 1 has cost them 400 crores are false. As per him, they have made an investment on several things which will also be used for part 2.
Meanwhile, the buzz for Brahmastra part 2 has picked up with several reports related to it floating on the internet. It is being said that either Hrithik Roshan or Ranveer Singh will be seen in the part 2 in the character of Dev. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone is said to finalized to play Amrita.
