Allu Arjun’s Pushpa has finally ended its glorious box office journey in India. Released on 17th December 2021, the played in theatres for almost two and a half months and undoubtedly, it’s a huge achievement!

Just like their previous outings, the combo of Allu Arjun and director Sukumar did wonders this time too. But what’s special about this film was it was Allu’s first-ever pan-Indian film. The move worked a big time, as it did unimaginable business in the predominantly Bollywood belt.

Pushpa’s box office collection in India

As per the last update that has come in, Allu Arjun’s masala entertainer has finished off its theatrical journey at 270 crores (nett collection). It includes 137 crores of the Telugu version, 110 crores of the Hindi version, and the remaining amount from the rest of the versions.

Pushpa in overseas

In overseas, the film did a good business. As per the trade reports, it earned 38 crores. So, the worldwide total of the film stands at 356.60 crores gross (including 318.60 crores gross from India).

Budget of the film

If reports are to be believed, Pushpa carries a budget of a staggering 150-150 crores. Earlier, many felt that the film might suffer at the box office due to its astonishing budget amid all the chaos of Covid. But as soon as word-of-mouth started kicking in, and the Hindi version performing way beyond imagination, tables were turned by 360 degrees from the box office perspective.

Speaking about the salary, it’s learned that Allu Arjun had hiked his fees for the film. Earlier, he used to charge 15-18 crores per film, but for the Sukumar directorial, he had taken home an amount of 35 crores.

It now proudly flaunts the tag of the highest-grossing film of India during the pandemic era above Akshay Kumar‘s Sooryavanshi.
