Netizens have gone crazy as the official premiere date of Friends: The Reunion has been unveiled by HBO Max as well as the cast. The sudden and unplanned reunion of Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer is emotional and exciting not only for the cast but also for the fans of the American cult sitcom.
The first teaser of the reunion is out along with which the premiere date is also announced. The special reunion episodes of Friends will go live on May 27 on HBO Max.
The first teaser of Friends: The Reunion features the acoustic version of the theme song of the show. As the sound plays, the six friends walk into the distance together and reveal the release date of the special episodes. Watch it below.
Apart from HBO Max, Courteney Cox shared the teaser of Friends: The Reunion on Instagram and wrote, “This kind of thing does not happen every year, or even 10 or 15 years. I feel so blessed to have had a chance to reunite with my friends, and it was better than ever.”

Earlier this week, Courteney appeared on a talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres where she said that the reunion of Friends was unscripted and it felt emotional and unbelievable. All of the cast members got to be on Stage 24 in California after so many years and it was unbelievable. Courteney also said that the reunion episodes will be coming with a lot of surprises.
