It’s day 15 for Tokyo Olympics 2021 and it’s been an unforgettable day for Indians. Yes, India has won its first gold at this year’s Olympics. The 23-year-old Neeraj Chopra has spilled the magic in the ground.

Neeraj Chopra has won gold in Men’s javelin throw. The medal has come after 12 years for India. It was Abhinav Bindra who had won gold in Men’s 10 m air rifle, back in 2008. On the whole, India’s tally at this year’s Olympics stands at 7.

It’s a historic win as it’s India’s first gold in athletics. He’s the second individual gold medalist for India. As a reward, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has announced giving 6 crores and a government job to Neeraj.
