Aasif Sheikh of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain says that everyone cannot be Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan about his innings in the film industry. He is grateful for the small screen that has given him what cinema could not give.
Aasif has been a part of the silver screen industry for over three decades. Recently, the actor was indulged in a conversation with the Times of India in which he spoke about his experience in the silver screen industry. He talked about the name and fame. Aasif also revealed that he was terrified when he joined his first comedy show.
Aasif Sheikh shared that he has played more than 300 characters in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain. He goes through a different experience in the show daily, and the show has helped him in evolving his acting prowess. He said that whenever he is bored of playing the role of Vibhuti, he talks to his director and asks for something different and extraordinary.
When asked about how he managed to cope with the lockdown, Aasif Sheikh said that the lockdown created pressure on him. He was stressed when he realized that there won’t be a flow of income. However, he believed that such times end. He meditated and tried to maintain his calm during the lockdown.
Aasif Sheikh appreciated the television industry. The actor said that TV gave him everything that he has today. Even though he has done around 125 movies with some of them being blockbusters, he does not give credit for his fame to these movies. He said that he enjoys playing various roles on TV. He would always prefer TV, and Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain has been his priority since he became a part of the cast of the show. Playing Vibhuti has been special for him.
Aasif is grateful for whatever he has today. He has no regrets. He feels that he is fortunate to have whatever he has today. Everybody cannot be Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan or Amitabh Bachchan.
