Pathaan Beats Shah Rukh Khan’s Own Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’s 3.12 Crore Footfalls, All Hail The Box Office Monster!

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is refusing to slow down despite spending well over a month in theatres. The film has turned out to be an extraordinary affair at the box office and in the latest development, it has crossed Baahubali 2 (Hindi) with its own’s Hindi collection. Now, we have got an interesting update about footfalls as per which, Shah Rukh has surpassed his own film.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the action extravaganza released on 25th January. It also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, Ashutosh Rana and Salman Khan (in cameo). Ever since the opening day, the action entertainer is on a record-breaking spree and the latest achievement is that the film has become the highest earning Hindi film ever at the Indian box office by surpassing Baahubali 2’s Hindi collection.

Pathaan footfalls till now in India

Speaking about footfalls, Pathaan has hit 3.20 crores footfalls in India, as per Box Office Worldwide. For the Hindi version, the figure is of 3.08 crores. Remaining 12 lakh footfalls are from other languages. With this, it has now become Shah Rukh Khan’s 3rd highest film in terms of footfalls.

DDLJ at no.1!

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge sits at the 1st spot with 4.80 crores footfalls. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is at the no. 2 with 3.57 crores footfalls. Pathaan is now no. 3 with 3.20 crores footfalls. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham has been pushed to no. 4, which enjoyed 3.12 crores footfalls.

Box office collection till now

Meanwhile, speaking about the box office collection, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has earned 529.96 crores nett at the Indian box office in 38 days. In Hindi alone, it has earned 511.70 crores nett.
