Prabhas’ Adipurush has turned out to be a major failure at the box office in just 10 days. After taking an earth-shattering start, the film failed to survive during the weekdays and as a result, it is finding it hard to achieve the milestones it was supposed to unleash like a cakewalk. Here’s how much collection the biggie has made in the first 10 days on the worldwide front!

Negativity has taken a toll

Helmed by Om Raut and also starring Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage, the magnum opus saw extreme negativity around itself right after its release. Be it dialogues, VFX or the overall concept, the film received backlash for several reasons. Due to such poor word-of-mouth, it came crashing down after a 140 crores start at the worldwide box office.

Adipurush worldwide collection till now

Speaking about the latest box office update, Adipurush has earned 275 crores nett at the Indian box office. In gross, it equals 324.50 crores gross. In overseas, the film has earned 54 crores gross. Combining both gross numbers, the worldwide collection stands at 378.50 crores gross.

To miss the 400 crore mark

Though Adipurush is just 20 crores+ gross away from the 400 crore mark, it is expected to miss it, considering the pace of the film has slowed down terribly.

While the film is a huge disaster in India, it also turned out to be a major disappointment in the overseas market.

Meanwhile, after receiving criticism from all over due to ‘tapori’ dialogues, the makers of Adipurush have changed certain objectionable lines in the film. The improved version is currently playing in theatres.
