In the last few months, Hollywood actress Amber Heard is facing a lot of criticism over her being part of Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. It’s all happening as her ex-husband and actor, Johnny Depp has seen a downfall in his career, whereas, Amber is managing to bag big projects despite both been involved in a legal matter.

Following the announcement of Aquaman’s sequel title by director James Wan, fans urged everyone to boycott the film and actress as they are demanding equal justice. The hashtags #BoycottAquaman2 and #JusticeForJohnnyDepp were seen trending on Twitter, as fans expressed their opposition to Amber’s involvement in the film. The actual money from starring in successful comic book blockbusters comes from percentage points and profit-sharing agreements, which allow the performers to earn a lot more money based on box office performance. For example, Robert Downey Jr. was paid $20 million upfront for Avengers: Endgame. He was also given a chunk of back-end profits, which netted him an additional $55 million when the conclusion to the Infinity Saga became the highest-grossing film in history. His co-stars Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth received around $25 million each, on top of their standard fees.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, according to Daniel Richtman, might place Amber Heard on such a list of big earners. As per We Got This Covered, Amber received at least $5 million for the prequel and she might have earned at least a double amount for the sequel.

However, if she wants to be the highest-paid actress, she must earn at least $15 to $20 million from Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom, if we take a look at other Hollywood actresses’ salaries.
